Soulful Activism: A Love Note To My Sisters

Free mini-course

This light antidote was created to remind us all to intentionally carve out space to nourish and replenish ourselves whilst also continuing to be activated in dismantling anti-black violence and moving forward in embodying anti-racism.

We are all guilty of pushing forward and ignoring the subtle signs of fatigue continuing to produce or consume from the same systems that we are trying to dismantle.

Our sense of self is deeply entwined within the restrictive framework of whiteness and whether we are talking about food or fitness, movement or stillness the gaze is inherently present.

My hope is that these reminders, which started initially for myself, will spread to you in a way to celebrate all of you, all of the time and not only when you are deemed to be relevant or on ‘trend’.

You deserve to be celebrated every damn day. In fact, placing you and your wellbeing at the top of your list is truly a revolutionary act in itself.

Thank you so much Ravideep for creating this. So needed guidance to navigate through multiple emotions that I have been holding so long, and also to recognise own habit of punishing myself trying to be at it all the time. I recognised that why the word of 'collective healing' does exist. Your wisdom is appreciated. Your presence is appreciated. My foreign words never be enough to explain this.
